Our First Family Vacation - Hilton Head, South Carolina Sept 8-14th

Noah spent all day...all week...SO excited about leaving for vacation. He loved helping me pack and could hardly sleep! Finally Saturday night came and we were on the road and ready for our first vacation! We left at bedtime - they kids were thrilled! Allie didn't know why but I think she was happy because Noah was! Allie feel asleep shortly after we got gas just down the road from our house and Noah watched Cars 2 before he went to sleep. They both did great sleeping through the night! 

 

Allie woke up every time we stopped for gas - she would smile ear to ear at us through the window and would then go right back to sleep! Silly girl! This is one of the stops in the middle of the night!

 

We woke Noah up to show him the ocean as we went over the bridge to the island! His face was priceless! He completely lit up! Hope I always remember that! 

 

We couldn't check into our hotel yet, so we killed some time by going to breakfast, going into the town plaza and going to the store but we still had time. Noah was begging to go to the beach. We were hoping to get into the room first, but thought that's it, let's go to the beach! I told Noah we weren't putting on his swim trucks, so we weren't swimming, just walking on the beach and putting his feet in. I told him to try not to get too wet. Hahahaha! RIGHT! He basically dove head first into the water within minutes! It was SO funny!

Allie was in awe over the ocean...so, so sweet...

She was CRACKING up at big brother!

 

One of the first of HUNDREDS to tell us how Allie looked just like a doll! She gets that all the time. People are like "no, seriously, she looks like she is a doll baby!"

 

Then we headed to lunch! Noah wanted a picture with the cool cow!
