Trick or Treat

Noah decided to be Thomas tonight, as opposed to Bob the Builder. I thought we were for sure going to end up out the door in a mix of the 2! haha! He had lots of fun going around the neighborhood getting candy and most of all seeing and playing with the neighbors' dogs! Doesn't he look super cute - and excited?! I want to remember his sweet innocence and lack of greed at this age. We laughed the whole time about how people would have a handful of candy to put into his bag and he would look at the candy, pick one, grab it and then say "Thank you! Have a good day!" They would always be like "You can have more!" but he would just say "Bye! Thanks!"

Halloween Fun!

We stayed in tonight and some Halloween fun - we made popcorn balls with orange and black candies (not very many after Noah got ahold of them!) and made a mummy bowl for some more popcorn! Noah had popcorn for the first time last week and loves it! He was enhaling it!

Highlander Point Halloween

We went to the annual Halloween bash at Highlander Point to help pass out candy at MawMaw & PawPaw's office, as well as to trick-or-treat for some yummy loot! Noah came home with lots of candy, popcorn, a pumpkin and much more! It was super cold and rainy this year but still lots of fun! Here is my cute lil Bob the Builder...

It was also PawPaw's birthday today! Happy Birthday!!! Love you!

Halloween at the Zoo!

We went to the Halloween at the zoo and had a blast! I think it was way better this year than before! We decided to do the free shuttle instead of trying to fight the crowd to park and pay. It was the best decision ever - not only did we literally park and immediately get on the shuttle with no wait - it was a school bus! Noah was SO excited! I think that was probably his favorite part!

Baby sister had her 'treat' too!

Another favorite part - driving the UPS truck!

One happy boy!

HALF WAY - 20 WEEKS!

Wow, 20 weeks! I am officially half-way (well I guess more than that since I am having a planned c-section at 39 weeks)! Baby girl is the size of a cantaloupe with an average size of 6.5 in and 10.6 oz. I think they said she was 10 oz at the ultrasound, so it sounds like she is right on track!

Noah at 2

I realized I never posted a blog about what I want to remember about Noah as he turned 2! So here it is, at 2 years old:

Noah is wearing mostly 3T shirts, 2T pants and size 9/10 shoes
He knows all his colors, shapes, letters, and some of his numbers
He often sings his ABCS, Twinkle Little Star, and On the Day That You Were Born
He can name the top 25 Presidents and is still learning more! Yes, he LOVES this!
He has an amazingly large and clear vocabulary. He has full conversations with you.
He loves chicken nuggets, beans, eggs, steak, blueberries, yogurt, strawberries, and anything yummy & sweet of course, like ice cream, popsicles, cupcakes, and suckers!
His favorite color is currently orange, with green running close behind.
He loves playing with his trains, his tools, and reading books more than anything. He does each of those daily.
He likes Thomas (and knows the names of almost ALL of his friends), Handy Manny and Bob the Builder
He really likes baseball, basketball and football. And loves when his clothes have sports on them.
He enjoys puzzles, especially his Thomas ones.
He hates tags - like the tags on clothes. We often have to cut them off.
He is big into "I do it" and "I do myself" - especially when it comes to putting on his shoes!
He hated bandaids but now thinks they are awesome. He puts one on almost every night after bath right now!

Tuckered out

Noah was plum tuckered out this afternoon on the way home! So I took advantage of it! He looks SO big in my arms now. I can't imagine how big he will look once his baby sister gets here!

Painting & Carving Pumpkins

Today, we painted & carved our pumpkins! Noah, of course, loved it and wanted to go buy more pumpkins to decorate! ha! Love family time like this! :)

I painted baby girl's pumpkin with pink letters and purple flowers!
Noah's pumpkin has 2 sets of eyes because he just couldn't decide!

We lit our carved "ghost" pumpkin that night!

The Reveal Party

So here are the some pictures - I didn't narrow down very well but there were so many I wanted to include! Andrea & I love planning parties, so we were all decked out with pink and blue! We asked that everyone wear pink or blue according to their guess on sex. Everyone placed their dollar bets and put some name suggestions up. Chad, Fargol, Friyana, Derek, Khirstin & Braeden all joined us via Skype, which was awesome! Then we played an old wives tale game and made the big REVEAL. I gave Mike the envelope with our ultrasound in it and he put balloons according to the sex in our box and he already knew the sex of his baby, so he did the same in their box. Then we opened them at the same time! Out came BLUE for Andrea & Mike and out came PINK for us! I couldn't believe it! Seriously, I thought Mike was just messing with us! I asked for the ultrasound picture right away to confirm! haha! After that, we all ate, took "team" pictures and talked about the exciting news! I am SO EXCITED about this LITTLE GIRL on the way!
