More Birthday Celebrating...

Since we did all our celebrating with family yesterday, Terry & I spent his actual birthday as just the two of us. After work, we went to Oliver Garden & then came home to relax out on the hammock! It was so nice! Happy Birthday honey!

Terry's Turning 29 on the 29th!

Tomorrow is Terry's birthday, but the celebrating started today! We had all our family over for a home cooked meal of Papa John's Pizza. Ha!! It was wonderful getting everyone together! Terry wants to thank everyone for coming and for his gifts! He really appreciates it! Here are some pictures of Terry with the Carmel Apple Cheesecake that I made for him, pictures of him opening gifts, and of course, some pictures courtesy of my nephew Sam!!! I am such a fun Aunt, letting him play with my camera! He is a good little photographer! Also, I can't finish this blog without mentioning that is actually my brother's Chad birthday today! Happy Birthday Chad! We wish you were here with us to celebrate!

Taylor Wedding

Terry & I went to another wedding tonight! This was for the "former" Jessie Potish & Kent Taylor. They are now Mr. & Mrs. Kent Taylor! I became friends with both Jessie & Kent when I worked at Humana and we have remained in touch since. Their wedding was beautiful! It was at the Frazier Museum of History with the ceremony on the roof top and the reception inside. It was wonderful seeing them get married, especially since Kent caught the garter at our wedding and I did their engagement photos! I was very excited to see that my work was on display! The program & favors had my pictures on it! It was so cute!

Adorable...

I had another photo shoot today. This was for a friend of mine, Megan. Her & Robert are expecting and they wanted some pictures to capture this special time in their lives. I haven't finished all her pictures yet...in fact, she hasn't seen any of them yet, but I had to put one on here! It's so cute! I love pregnant bellies!

Windstorm Madness!

Well, as most everyone knows, Southern Indiana had some severe wind this past Sunday. Being in the insurance business, it has been a CRAZY week! The damage was way worse than I imagined. Claims came in right and left! We are estimating that we have easily had over 100 claims so far, just in our office! Shelter Insurance has over 1000 claims in total from just this area so far! Luckily, Terry & I personally did not have any damage and we never lost electricity either. My parents, on the other the hand, look like a tornado went through! Thankfully, no house damage, just a crazy tree debris filled yard! I had Dad send me some pictures! The pictures don't even give it justice though. We went and helped them start the clean up process last night and it is way worse than the pictures even look! Mom stood in some of the pictures to show just how big some of these trees are...

Cowboy Hats and the Big "I Do"...

Last night, we went to another wedding! The now Mr. & Mrs. Colt Becht wedding! Colt is one of my great high school friends and it was so great to see him & Susan so happy! The wedding was beautiful. All the guys had wranglers and cowboy hats on, of course! The cake even had a big belt buckle with their names and wedding date on it! It was so them! I only took a few pictures, but here they are!

One more thing...

Also, today is my mother-in-law's birthday....Happy Birthday Debbie!!!!

Labor Day Fun!

Terry & I, along with some of my family, went to Tennessee for Labor Day! We went to spend time with wonderful friends at Tim's Ford Lake. Dave & Lorraine Singer have two houses on the lake that they have so graciously allowed us to come and stay every year for Labor Day. I believe this was my 12th year going! It was Terry's first time though, thanks to his new job! It is so great that he finally has weekends off to enjoy! We had a wonderful time skiing, tubing, swimming and spending time with everyone...
