Noah at 3.5 Years Old

Noah, you are such a big boy! You blow me away daily with just how old you are getting. You are hilarious, smart and sweet. You have your moments, of course, but you really are a remarkably good boy. Some things to remember at this age:
  • Your favorite color is orange now, with green being a close second. It was green, then orange before.
  • You like having everything in 3s because you are 3...food especially, you eat 3 carrots at lunch because you're 3...you need 3 crackers because you are 3, etc. :)
  • You wear 11.5-12 shoes, 4T clothes.
  • You're really getting into Toy Story now. Still love Cars but Toy Story is taking a lead.
  • You talk about your next party when you turn 4 often, probably daily! ha! You say it's going to be a Toy Story party!
  • You love your sister! You are often loving on your gator, even if she doesn't like it sometimes. You don't always love sharing with her, but you are pretty good about most things. You love sharing your food, just not always certain toys (mainly your characters!).
  • You like watching cartoons in the morning during breakfast - shows we usually watch in the morning include Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Mickey Mouse or Superwhy.
  • You don't take naps anymore. Even though you were a fantastic napper and sleeper, it was starting to take you a long time to fall asleep at night...so we thought we would try you without naps and you have done really well with it! Sometimes you take a cat nap in the car.
  • During Allie's nap, we either play, read books, do craft, or have computer time. I let you play on pbskids.org and you really enjoy that. You like to play Superwhy, Martha Speaks, Wild Kratts, Arthur and a few others.
  • You no longer sleep with buddy. Since you were chewing on him, we decided it was time to be done with him. So a few days after Christmas, you had your last night sleep with him. Tear! :( You actually did really, really well with it! You are just so grown up - buddy seemed like your last "baby" thing, so it was sad but I was happy to get that thing out of your mouth too!
  • You now bite your nail like crazy and it is driving mommy crazy!!! I can't blame you - you watch your daddy do it all the time! ugh!
  • You are playing basketball for the first time right now and we will be signing you up for soccer soon! You are excited!
