Our 4th Anniversary

It is our 4th wedding anniversary today! Wow, how time flies! It is also 3 years ago today that we found out we were pregnant. I can't believe it's been that long for either and that in 4 short years, we have our 2nd child on the way. What an amazing time of our lives!

Santa, I want...

We took Noah to see Santa at Bass Pro Shop this afternoon. He was SO excited! I really didn't know how he would do once he actually saw him but he did great! He went straight to his lap, smiled for his picture and then was on a mission to tell Santa what he wanted! "Umm, Santa, I want Ferdinand, Charlie, Flynn the Firetruck, and Molly." Those are all trains from Thomas & Friends. It was so cute listening to him tell Santa. After that Santa handed Noah a candy cane and I looked at Noah and said "Well what do you say?" Noah said "Umm, I want Ferdinand, Charlie, Flynn......" Haha! I said "No, I mean say thank you! Noah laughed and said "thank you!" Then he gave Santa a hug and we went on our way!

27 Weeks - 3rd Trimester

I have officially began my 3rd Trimester. Wow! I had my normal monthly appointment on Monday and now have started into my every 2 weeks appointments, which is crazy to me! I can't believe how fast it has went. I am sure after Christmas until her birth, that time will be creeping by and I will be saying "Come on already!" but for now, it has been flying by!  I had my glucose test, which I passed and her heartrate was 155 bpm. Everything looked great! "Hooray!" as Noah would say!

Conversations with Noah

I am constantly saying that I need to blog various conversations that I have with Noah for my keepsake because he is always cracking me up! I never do, so I swear I am going to start doing it more often! Today at lunch went something like this:

Noah - "Baby Allie is going to come out and crawl to the Christmas tree."
Me - "Well she won't be here for Christmas. She will be here a couple months after Christmas."
Noah - "She will crawl outside with me to the backyard and kick the ball"
Me - "When she comes out, you will have to help teach her how to crawl, walk, and run"
Noah - "Yeah, run like this!!!" (As he kicks his feet like crazy!) 
Me - "That's great buddy"
Noah - "Baby Allie will fly up in an airplane, way up in the sky"
Me - "Where will she go?"
Noah - "Up in the sky, with Super Readers! Yeah! Hooray!"

On a side note:

• I love that he says "Hooray" all the time!
• I think it's hilarious that he often says that he doesn't need to do something because he did it yesterday. It's always "yesterday" no matter when he did is last. Haha! Such as "No, I don't need to go pee, I went pee yesterday" or "I picked up my toys yesterday", etc. I love his sense of humor. 
• During our Pennslyvania trip, he picked up on my nickname that Uncle Derek and Braeden call me and now calls me "Lesterfest" often. He thinks it's hilarious!
• Lately he just makes up random words and we will say "What's that? I don't know what that means." And he will just laugh and laugh. I guess it's because he doesn't know what it means either, he just made it up!   

Time to Decorate!

It was time to decorate the trees! I actually only did 2 trees this year but Noah had a blast doing them. He thinks it's super cool that he has one in his room and that it is decorated with his favorite color, green! Though orange is a close second, so he said that we need to go buy some at the store! ha! He started out with a snowman doughnut which Terry thinks should be our traditional tree decorating treat! I love the holidays!

It's Christmas Time!

You will often hear Noah yelling "It's Christmas Time!" We went and got our tree tonight but because it was raining so much, we set it up in the garage to dry for the night. Noah was still SO excited! I mean, look at his face in every one of these pictures! I LOVE it! We decided to make a Rice Krispy Christmas house after we got home - Noah was a fan!

Fall Family & Maternity Pictures

I got my sister and mom to come out and attempt to get us some family pictures a few weeks back. I just finally got the time to edit them and get them on here! I am actually pretty happy with a few of them! I am kind of picky because it's what I do! Luckily Andrea is pretty patient with me and listens to what I say! Mom does an awesome job as Noah's entertainer.

Thanksgiving Trip to PA

With Derek's arrival home from Iraq coming early, we decided to head to PA and have Thanksgiving with him, Khirstin & Braeden this year! It was a great trip! It took about 11 hours to get there and about 10.5 to get back. I just have to say that Noah was SO, SO, SO good! I was actually pleasantly surprised just how good! He didn't complain once. He kept saying "We are going on a LONG drive to see Uncle Derek! Hooray!" He was excited to watch Cars for the first time, along with Thomas videos, Bob the Builder, Nemo, etc. Anyways, the extented weekend was wonderful! Even Chad, Fargol & Friyana came in, so it was extra special!

I love this picture of Derek & Noah. They were in deep conversation! I am pretty sure Derek thinks Noah is pretty hilarious!
