Nursery almost complete & his name is official!

Well, I guess the name is official...Noah Lee Elder!!! His room is almost complete! I absolutely love it and think it is adorable!

Week 26!

26 weeks along and everything is still going well! Nothing really new to comment about, expect that Terry was able to hear the baby's heartbeat by just putting his ear to my belly this morning, Mimi (Terry's mom) felt him kick for the first time today, and I felt our little boy get the hiccups for the first time the other day! So, so awesome!!!!

Busy, Busy Weekend!

We had a very busy, but very nice weekend! Friday night, I went to "Girl's Night In" at a friend's house. I had such a good time seeing everyone! We ate dinner, talked gossip, and looked through old pictures! And my friend made the party so cute and put so much effort into it! Thanks Autumn!!! On Saturday, I had photo shoots at Community Park, which my one arm got a nice burnt farmer's tan! Then, Terry & I went to Target to start our baby registry!!! We were so excited and constantly fought over the gun! Haha! That night, we spent cleaning the house, doing laundry, baking a cake, and mowing the lawn. Then on Sunday, we celebrated my sister-in-laws' birthdays at our house! Happy Birthday Melanie & Melissa! The whole weekend was wonderful, but of course, exhausting!!!

Week 25-28: Eggplant

25 weeks along today and our little boy is comparable to the size of an eggplant.

24 Weeks on Easter!

6 months along...can you believe it?! Some days this pregnancy seems to go so slow, but then there are days like this when I feel like "WOW, time is flying by!" As excited as I am to see and hold our precious little boy, I want to cherish every day of this pregnancy and not wish it away! I absolutely love the feeling on having him kick and move around every single day. It is so awesome! I can officially say that I now understand why so many people say they miss being pregnant. It is such an exciting, wonderful, and emotional time in your life. One that proves miracles are possible and that God is simply amazing!

We had such a great day spending time with family! We started the day with church and then to Riverfront Park with my family. We had a picnic, bubbles, playground fun, and an egg hunt! I have so many cute pictures of Sam that it was hard to choose, but here are some! Jake slept the whole time, so sadly no pictures of him today!

After that, we headed to MawMaw & PawPaws for Easter with Terry's family. We ate again and had another egg hunt! Baby Elder made $7 from the hunt!

Week 23

23 weeks along today and still doing great!!! He is moving and kicking like crazy every day! Lots of his aunts and uncles got to feel him this weekend, including Uncle Derek, Mike, Daniel and Aunt Alicia & Khirstin! Sam played with my belly and talked through my "hole" (my belly button)! He is so funny!

Mom's Birthday!

Yesterday was my mom's birthday! We had a fun family dinner celebration at our house last night. I love spending time with family and I just love my mom...Happy Birthday Mom! We love you so much! It is so awesome to have a person in my life who is not only my mother, but one of my absolute best friends!!!
