This is the smiles of a girl who gets to try out walking without a walker when we get home tonight! She is still very restricted but said he wants her to walk unassisted, swim when possible and ride a bike with training wheels (with no wrecks!). He said she is doing well and wants her back in 3 months for another check. He doesn't want xrays more often due to the radiation. Unfortunately he repeatedly reminded us that the chances are very high of the cyst returning and needing another surgery. He said there is one small area where there may be traces of the cyst in the location where he couldn't get close to the blood supply and growth plate...but it's just a wait and see for now.
Laynie came with us today, they had some circus entertainment, and of course Allie was stocked up on stickers and got some goodies at the gift shop! As stressful and nervous as it always is for mommy...I would say it was a pretty good day for miss Allie at Cincinnati Children's!
