Allie's appointment went very well but interesting to say the least! She is no longer sporting orange and purple. We had no idea it was coming off and was being replaced. She now has a pink and purple cast with rainbow sparkles! Her one leg is free now. The cast is still around her waist but not as high. The best part is, it is waterproof!
As for the bone graft, he says it looks good. He is happy, the bone is filling in, and as of now, there is no cyst showing! Incision looked good too. We return in 4 weeks and go from there. Yay! Goodbye cast #2 ...say hello to cast #3!
I asked Allie what she wanted to do after dinner tonight...asked if she wanted to go play outside, play with the neighbors, go get ice cream, whatever she wanted! Allie's response "take a bath!!!" She took a 1.5 hour bath! Laynie even ended up joining her! Happy girls!
