I know I am a hot mess here! I had just mowed and ran, then it started raining, so Noah & I played in the rain!

YMCA Healthy Kids Day

We went the the YMCA Healthy Kids Day today! There were lots of games, booths, and snacks. Noah was all about the fruit! :)

College Friends

Some of my college friends came in town and we always have a great time together! I miss those girls!

 They met Allie for the first time! I think they were fans of her! :)

Allie at 2.5 Months Old

Just a few things I want to remember about Allie right now!

• She slept in her own room for the first time last night. I finally made the transition! I have been wanting to move her in there for a while now but then I missed her like crazy last night - ha! Anyways, she did great with it. I didn't figure she would have any issues since she takes her naps in there so well.
• She has become really expressive this past week - bouncing herself in her seat, kicking around a lot in excitement, smiling and talking constantly. I love, love, love how she shrugs her shoulders when she talks, just like Noah did.
• I love her hair - it looks like it has highlights and lowlights, especially when you pull it back a little with a bow! It's also much longer now than it was when she was born.
• She is doing wonderful rolling over belly to back. I wonder when she will go the other way - she gets herself up on her side a lot, but hasn't made it over that shoulder!
• Her normal daily routine as of now when we are home is basically this (give or take 30 mins) - she wakes up at 7:30 am and nurses, plays and has floor time, lays down for nap at 9:30, wakes and eats at 10:30, plays until nap at 12 (same as Noah :)), wakes and nurses at 1:30, goes back to sleep after this one (yes, I pushed that so she would keep sleeping while Noah is!), this is her longer nap, wakes and eats at 4:30, then she is awake until she nurses at 7:30 or 8 pm, then it's bath, books, and bed by 8:30ish. She has been getting up once, sometimes twice to eat in the night.

Mommy makes the best food ever!

At dinner tonight, Noah said "Yummy delicious! Mommy makes the best food ever!" He was eating this beans & rice meal that I created a few years back after coming home from Jamaica that him and Terry just LOVE. I can't believe Noah likes it, since it has hot sauce and jalapenos in it but he does!

Hope he always thinks that!

Nora's 1st Birthday!

My neice Nora turned 1! We celebrated today with a fun ladybug infestation (haha-Alicia)! Happy Birthday sweet girl! 

Allie, Avery and even MawMaw kind of matched today so we went a little picture crazy! 

How cute is Miss Nora and how cute is that cake!?

Wake Up Noah!!!

When Noah is just not ready to get up some mornings, I take Allie in there and put her in bed with him. He usually loves it and wakes right up saying "Hi pretty girl!" Well, this morning, he could care less, he just rolled right over! haha! I literally had to pick him up out of bed to get him up after sleeping a hour past when he usually gets up! Tired boy!

I realized the other day that I didn't have any pictures of Allie smiling! Well I can't have that! Her smile is too beautiful! So I have been on a mission lately to catch a good one but of course, she always gives me the biggest ones when the camera isn't around! Stinker! :)

Allie's 2 Month Appointment

Allie had her 2 month appointment today. I dropped Noah off at MawMaw & PawPaw's office, so I actually took a few pictures this time! Anyways, she is doing great! She weighs 11 lbs 14.5 oz (75th percentile), 23 in long (75th percentile) and 14 3/4 in head (40th percentile). She got some shots, increased her reflux medicine a little, and is scheduled to go back at 4 months. No complaints or issues equals a happy mommy!

Roots!

Allie apparently needs to get back to the salon - her roots are showing! Ha! It looks like her hair was dyed red and now her natural blonde is coming through! It's pretty funny to see. It's exactly what Noah's did and what mine did when I was a baby. She will be blonde all over soon.

Easter 2012 continued

After MawMaw & PawPaw's, we headed to Maw & Paw Nic's house for some more food, egg hunt, and fun family time. What a wonderful day!
