Can you contact blogger? I've never really looked into it, but wondering if there's a way to e-mail them and let them know of your issues?
Have you tried to google this problem & see if there's anybody else that has had this happen? I did that when i was having trouble w/ my side bar & I found a forum where they told me exactly how to fix it.
You may want to use the new blogger interface too...if you're not already!
