Family and Friends...

Terry & I were very busy last weekend! On Saturday, we went to a birthday party for his cousin Katie and then went to a get-together at Sean & Megan's house. Sunday, we went to church and to my Grandma's house. The whole weekend was great, spending quality time with friends and family! I didn't take any pictures, except one of Katie opening her birthday gifts! She turned 11 years old!

Country Wedding!

Yesterday, Terry & I went to a wedding out in the country of Piopolis, Illinois! This was Duck's wedding, one of my awesome friends from UE. The wedding was so much fun! I told Terry that this would be an experience and it proved to be true! The wedding was in the middle of nowhere and the whole town showed up! There was lots of cowboy hats, jeans, and country accents! Not only that, but they have some pretty hilarious traditions at their country weddings. First off, they auctioned off the bride and groom before the dollar dance. One man paid $165 for the first dance with Duck and a lady paid $170 for the first dance with Jeremy! It was hilarious! Then the night just got better, as they ended the night with the traditional throwing of the groom in a POND! No joke, they really threw him in along with some groomsmen! Check out these pictures!

Pedicure...

My sister and I went and got a pedicure tonight! This is a special treat, considering we only have our nails done like twice a year for special occasions! We went for no reason at all this time and had a great time! You can tell we don't go much since we took a picture! The people must think that we don't get out much, but I needed a picture to blog!!! :)

Busy Sunday...

Today, we had our annual St. Mary's Church Picnic and the McAfee Family Reunion. My mom, sister, and I worked the picnic as usual and then headed to the reunion at the Pekin Park. It was great to see everybody! I didn't take any pictures, expect for one of us girls at the picnic. Thanks again for the cute aprons Mom!

Babysitting

Well, this isn't exactly current...but Terry & I got to babysit our nephew, Sam a couple of weeks ago, while Daniel & Alicia went out for their anniversary! I can't help but to take pictures when I am around him! Here are some cute ones...

So I have realized over the past week while striving to find blog photo ops, that it's true...we really are not that interesting! We seem to always stay busy, but nothing too exciting! Sadly, our past week has consisted of me having a constant sinus migraine and a possible broken nose! Don't ask! :)

Last Sunday though, I did get to go to work with Terry. It was so neat to see what my husband does on a daily basis and how the loan process works! I got to listen to him makes call and run the computer programs needed for the loan process. I also saw that he had a couple of pictures of me on his desk, which was so sweet! That same day, we got to see Derek, Khirstin & Braeden while they were in town, which of course, was great!
